Your Tarot Reading for the Week of May 5

Pluto retrograde (from May 4 until October 13) and Venus in Aries shift the mood and action up. Maybe we’ll all feel a little stirred and shaken this week, a little jarred by interactions with others and our self image as a result. The Five of Wands amplifies that tension and irritable vibe. Here’s the approach to take: see the noise/drama/conflict as just a symptom or signal. See it purely as an alarm trying to tell you that something needs attention and probably a tweak or adjustment. Don’t add fuel to the fire or react to the rubbish…glide by that and get right to the root cause and do your magic there. Problem solved!

Don’t overdo it this week Aries. Keep things on an even keel, in fact better yet, keep things on the low. Less is more. Don’t crowd your schedule or say yes to too many events and invites. Basically, don’t bite off more than you can chew because the Ten of Wands warns of a mini burn out. Time to step back, get perspective, streamline the load, and re-prioritize so that you’re investing your precious energy in the right places.

You can be stubborn, Taurus, we all know that, but you can also blame other folk and not take accountability when truthfully the situation is just as much on you as them. We all do this, I’m not singling you out, but the Eight of Swords suggests you’re in danger of doing it this week. All it will mean is that it takes twice as long to resolve things because you’re not accepting your role or input. Just admit what you did, and then put it right. Job done. Move on. Never mention it again.

The Eight of Wands is total Gemini and Mercury (your ruling planet) energy. Communication, wheeling and dealing, networks, high octane, and purposeful dialogue will get things moving. So, socialize and mingle this week. Be visible, be seen, be busy. Tell them your ideas, pitch your schemes, apply for the role, ask for more, demand your rights, share the details, spill the tea. Your mouth moves at a million miles a hour (it’s a super power), so talk more and better than anyone else and catch the opportunities as a result!

You are up to something, Cancer, and maybe something that you really shouldn't be—but toeing the line 24/7 would be boring, right? And you’re in a sinning mood! The Devil reminds you that you have absolute free will and you can pursue whatever shenanigans you wish. The only consideration is that you’re willing to own the consequences and take accountability and responsibility for them. Is it still worth it? If so, crack on and enjoy yourself. If not, then avoid the temptation and absorb your energies into something healthy, happy, and positive that keeps you on track.

All Leos love to be admired, applauded, respected, and celebrated. Good news this week then, my regal feline friend, because the Three of Pentacles brings all of those gifts your way. Folk have noticed your determination, persistence, and hard work, and they like it. Folk value your work ethic and integrity, so keep on doing the good work. Now it’s time to make sure you’ve been seen and appreciated and to maybe get your rewards! So, showcase what you’re doing and be visible to people with influence in your workplace and community. This week has the potential to be a GREAT week. The key to it is building on and amplifying your strengths and successes—don’t think of it as repetition, but as enhancement or meeting demand.
